That would drive me crazy!! Im organized but when I work all the tools I need are laying on the bench which I clean and put back in assigned places when finished
In frech culinary terms that would be called "Mise en plas"
or, a place for everything and everything in its place.

As for the bench shown a couple of post ago, if he knows where everything is, then that would also qualify as mise en plas, I guess
As far as what smart people can or cannot do, here's a perplexing example of something that I've always delt with,
My stepfather is a retired senior reactor operator, at a nuclear power facility. He can ramble off theory and stuff that is beyond me and makes me comfortable knowing cats like him are driving these things!
But at the same time, he would probably struggle to replace the battery in his car, beyond me, but at least it leaves people like me a career opportunity, changing the batteries for smart people...

I used some VP Fuel premix 40:1 in a 5 gallon can. It ran very good. So I bought some of the oil. 1 gallon and 2.5 gallon sized bottles. [emoji106]

Picked up all of the 2 gals my local wallyworld had today. I had already bought some of the 1 gals a couple months back. No squeeze bottles but , I plan to refill my red armor squeeze bottle with the VP. Mix it 40:1.

For some reason our local Wallyworld puts most of their outdoor power "stuff" on clearance around October every year, so I picked up what was left of the VP 6.4 bottles, 3 19.6 oz bottles of Poulan synthetic, and a 16 oz PureGuard Semisynthetic. We cut sporadically through the winter, but we've started up again (2 days / week). I'll be burning a couple of gallons a week at least.

Visited WW today, and they are restocking for the summer... the 16 oz bottles of VP are back at $6.82 a bottle. As a true oilaholic, I picked one up...just a taste...

Man.... thanks to this thread, I have so much good oil on my shelf!

All this time I just thought I had a Oil Fetish.... but maybe its time I came out of the closet. OK... this is hard... but I am a oilaholic.

JMS posted these a while back and I put them in my file bank - stihl 064 run on VP canned 40:1 fuel.

about 2 months ago a 661 came into scott's shop for porting, run on VP pre mix. The top of the piston looked like the pictures below. Some carbon build up on the EX skirt. But what got me what the muffler looked like the sahara desert. Bone dry, sandy looking light brown DRY coating and build up. Never seen that before. Even Scott @tree monkey was surprised.

Be nice to see some more take downs on the stuff since it seems to have a good reputation.
