I have Moble 1 in my Jeep, now I feel the sudden urge to check my oil after reading these posts........
What weight? I find most modern cars with low resistant rings to burn more oil than older vehicles, and the 0W-20 and 5W-20 make it worse. All in the name of fuel mileage.

0W-20

Screw it, I hate that thing anyway.
Some manufacturers are even updating the recommended oil for old models, again for fuel mileage not longevity. All Ford 4.6L from 97 on, went from 5w-30 to 5w-20 you gain a couple mpg, but you burn about a quart every 1,000 miles.

I have a by-pass oil filter in my Duramax. So I spend $25 and get the analysis done. I run Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel. I only change oil once yearly. I was doing about 15k a year for miles...
The UOA always said good to go...recheck in 10k...
BUT. I now just change it once in the summer on my time...lol
Duramax doesn't burn a drop of "engine oil." Lol
But it does burn some url!!!

15k miles that’s a busy month for me[emoji15]

How do you like that ecodiesel?

I just bought this one off my father it’s a 2015 he liked it so much he bought a 2017. It’s had a few recalls and it had to go back in to get the computer reflash because of the emission class action lawsuit which was not a huge deal I get 22 to 25 driving normal between Highway secondary road driving. All my towing is pretty much short distance so it’s hard to say what I’m getting for fuel mileage towing but it does tow well. I have averaged 25 miles per gallon on the highway. Less horsepower than a hemi but a few more foot pounds of torque very happy with it so far this one has 53,000 miles on it so far. I’ve had a tundra for a while I’ve driven an F150 quite a bit in in my opinion this one has the best ride

My brother was thinking about getting the 2020 when they come out. Ram trucks do ride nice. I had an Silverado 2500HD and it drove like a 3/4 ton truck:aplastao:. My 2500 Ram rides like a Cadillac with the 4 corner air bags.

I can get 25 MPG with the cruse set at 70 on flat hwy with my 2019 F-150 Ecoboost, but hills knock it down, and towing kills it. But if I drive it easy, I can get close to 20 around town, and when I want to pass someone on a two lane, those bi turbos wake it right up, so I'm pretty happy with it.

Towing limit is only 6,500 lbs, but hat is more than what I need. The 10 spd tranny makes it feel like it has more motor than it has.
