Yeah. Said he worked for tree company and would mill some of the wood. Told me what bar was on it (36” , uses a husky D09) Went over saw, fired it up for me, we chatted about cutting hazard trees after fires, he actually delivered part of the way cause traffic was going to be bad for me.
So IDK why just the $20 offered to prepay last week, No.

I think his wife was gonna take it in the divorce settlement agreement unless he adopted it out immediately, and wanted it to go to a good home, any home but his wife's.
Or he became an ordained tree hugger, but loved his saw and had to set it free.
Or the most plausible by far is, that he somehow knew that he, through you, could somehow get this saw to me, at many time's your cost of course, ship at your convenience, Matt...
