Yes, it is who I thought it was. I found two saws on eBay...the guy that had them is holding them for me. He had purchased the saws from the same guy I bought the 056 from. The thief tried to sell the 056 back to him, after he stole it back from me. I guess that the thief never made it to him with the 056, or any of my other saws. Just the two he purchased.

Is the buyer somewhat local? Perhaps he can inquire about any other large saws the POS may want to sell? Then be there waiting with the Po-Po, when said POS rolls up.

I tried asking of he wanted to set up a sting...he was so pissed off, he immediately called the guy and let him know he knew the stuff was stolen :/. So if he hadn’t offloaded the rest of the stuff yet...he will be much sooner now. Wasn’t too excited about that.

That is kind of weird I would at least try to set up a rendezvous with scumbag that ripped me off just to more or less crack him in the head.

The guy that bought the saw is a stand up guy. He’s been in the saw business a long time. He is about 2 hours from me. Wasn’t overly excited that he instantly called the thief out...but I do understand he was upset.

Did they do a local pickup? If so maybe where they met had cameras to get the license plates. I’d start hunting him down. Get the local LE involved and start back tracking. Also give them the guys cel phone number. That helps a lot

The thief delivered the saws to the buyer. I’ll head there sometime this week to pick up the saws and my 50” cannon bar.

Be nice to try a mini climber clone for cheap. I looked at these auctions.
There are 15 saws at auction ending ~ same time. Search 2500 chainsaw.
5 saws each from 3 sellers who "all" joined 16 Jul 17 - all have 0 feedback.
Pegs my fraudometer.
Theoretically, the risk is tying up your money until paypal refunds. 30? 60? 90? days.
If anybody wins an auction, let us know what happens.
These saws are available from different sellers at $145 BIN. I don't want to try one that bad.

I had the 15 25cc saws in my ebay watchlist noting auction prices. I added 5 more 52cc saws and that seller was like the others - joined 16 July '17 and 0 feedback. Saws were $40-60, auctions ending tonite.
POOF! Today all the listings are gone. Ebay must have figured out it was a scam. I almost wrote ebay to say - ripe for scam here - watch the money! Maybe somebody else did.
