Thanks for asking.
I got the intake boot in the mail the other day and the rib on the cylinder side is torn. Hyway brand, after market trash I tell you!!!

My stupid ass has finally learned not to even look at after market parts (besides Meteor piston)!! They truly are junk/trash/rubbish! Every after market part I have used either showed up broke or failed shortly there after!

This saw has been a miserable SOB since I touched it!

I"ll post a picture of the boot.

Yes dont buy anyrhing but a meteor piston and maybe a nwp clutch cover. Check with @BuckthornBonnie. He is a good guy he had some oem nos 1122 intake boots i got one from him. Hes a great guy to deal with.

Thanks again for the offer JJ, as of now I dont know what I want to do... I'm so sick of dealing with this saw and especially aftermarket junk I can spit.

He should give up on it and put it up for sale on here real cheap like. LOL

First off its a friends saw so it's not getting sold. I'm trying to help him out because he is so far upside down in this junker that I feel bad and all it is doing is causing me frustration and wasting my time.
And second, nothing about a stihl is cheap let alone "real cheap"... you know that.

I don't know the number its already back on the saw.
This saw has the small flywheel side crank end.
What are you thinking?

They all do. Was just askung for fact of if its late model ignition like coil on the 026 036 044 or the old dogleg coil. There were a couple case changes on them saws as to ignition coils and options thats all.

The rib that fits in side the groove of the cylinder is torn in a spot.
It's on the bottom right side of the picture. Do you see it?

What good would complaining do? I'm mean they have been making aftermarket saw parts now for a number of years and if they haven't got it right by now then there's a good chance they never will.
