The OE seems already kind of on the edge of what was possible with 6202 bearings on both sides of the crank. But at least they were metal cages vs plastic on the xtorq. The piston is also significantly lighter. Especially the one ring one. I still think the xtorq is a good worksaw though. Great torque. Just wouldn’t run it at the rpm of the OE with an unlimited coil. There is a reason why they have a limited coil from the factory.

That's cuz yers mostly just balance the red vs orange hues on your garage shelf.

We'll never wear one out when there's 30 to choose from
I wish, I'd like a garage, at least I have them in the basement. Yes, I'm all about color coordination :b1:.
That is the plan, have many and rotate them often, keeps them fresh. That being said I've owned a lot of parts saws, builders, and those needing carbs done, still haven't had a bad bottom on and xt or seen one here or in person, but I've owned many bad oe's.

Do you think that's the only reason for the limited coil?
They are great cutting saws, so forgiving in that wide power band.

Joking, I haven't even bought one with a smoked bottom end yet, seen a lot of oe's that needed cranks though.

I hear that, just wondering where they were coming in at.

If you want me to do a video I can :).

14.5-17k is where some of mine liked to run.

Full comp 32” bar in oak. It was stronger in previous cuts off camera leaned out a bit more. But I left it a bit rich for break in. I am impressed with this saw. This 50mm OE with the 1 ring piston is probably my favorite of the different 372 top ends I’ve ran.

Thanks. I still need to try a timing bump that @Stump Shot told me to..
Saw turned out pretty good for being primarily left over parts. :D
And I still want to wire up the heated handles sometime soon.

Road trip that thing up here and I will help you really dick it over. Lol
