Pulled the rest of my 120v circuits today. I think I ended up with 18... seems like a lot more than that by just looking at them.

The 240v stuff (Range, Dryer, Water heater) are going under the house.

Monday I will start pulling everything into the panel.

Starting my electrical rough in.... keep in mind, I’m not an electrician. :)

I like to run all the wires close to each other, to keep things neat. I pull one circuit at a time and label them as I go. I’m going to leave them dangling for now, and will pull them into the panel later.

Nice! We have used a label maker at work we have to keep track of control wires.

I just write on them with a sharpie, pull them into the panel one at a time, and label the breakers as I go... but wiring up machinery is a little more complicated than wiring a house! I have a label maker somewhere, too.

Looks real good. The 2 pole 20 breaker on the bottom right looks like it's missing one leg. ??? Photo could be a little deceiving too.
Square D makes a nice panel. The AFCI (Arc fault) breakers can be tricky at times. And the AFCI/GFCI's too.
You did good.
This has been a great thread. Everything looks awesome.

That breaker isn’t wired up yet. I’m still deciding what size breaker and wire I will need... which depends what size mini split system I decide to run.

The neutral wire right there is actually for the 50A breaker below. :)

Got about 90% of my electrical rough-in done in the last couple of days... All I have left at this point is the lights/plugs in the living room & kitchen areas (except for the two counter plug circuits, and all of the dedicated appliance circuits... which are done).

The kitchen is basically just can lights, under cabinet lights, lights for above the cabinets, and a couple of pendant lights over where the island will go (and a receptacle on each end of the island).

It was hot as f**k today, too. :(

Haven’t made much progress lately. I did pick up some granite when I was in SF/Sacramento last Friday. It’s much cheaper to buy it down there than to buy the same stuff locally.

I’m pretty much done with the electrical rough in, but I’ve been working on other jobs for the last few weeks.

Been a while since I’ve posted here...

I did run all my water supply lines. I use expansion PEX just because of how simple it is to install. And I started installing my waste lines/vents. A friend of mine who is a plumber helped me to make sure I did everything right.

And I also started on the roof, but I have a long way to go... I’ve done about 350 sq ft and have another 1800 to go. The rest of the shingles will be delivered on Friday and the plan is to install next Saturday.

new place.

Going to start bagging all the attic insulation and hire a crew to spray the roof deck with open cell.
Then I’ll lay plywood and make this attic more storage friendly.

Bought the lady a new washer/dryer and ran into some leaking valves. So went around the house and replaced them all to not have to worry about this again. Even the outside hose bibs.

Strange find for my area (it was hidden behind a plywood box) next to AC closet. The lines out to the Compressor run in slab via a conduit. Not a very clean pit. Exposed dirt was letting in a lot of moisture. I insulated the lines again, stuffed the conduit with plastic trash bags and closed cell can spray foamed the hole closed. The closed cell should stop moisture and I can easily demo it if required.

Removed carpet and linoleum, testing for moisture levels in the slab tomorrow and then going back with wood if possible.

Also, started modeling on the house in Revit today. I’m going to be the removing the main structural which takes all the load from the roof; so I have to figure out what size and type of beam I’ll be using.

We have owned the house two weeks now.
fun little project.
