Like the lower one in the picture?

I have so many handpieces I had to build a rack for them, it's over full now.

BTW Gents. I found a good deal on a chuck style handpiece that can hold 1/4" shaft burs. Straight from china, but the quality of the bearings and fit/finish is the best I've seen from that side of the pond. Only problem with it is the ball catch hole for the flex shaft sheath is a few thou under and needs to be reamed out to fit the foredom shaft. If there was a lot of people interested in them I could see if I could get them at a lower cost and modify them for everyone. They look like this.

Yep, that little angle head would be nice...

I would be interested in a couple of them straight pieces too.

A must have tool for porting is a good, high quality "Snellerizer"........

Well now a guy on a budget could always use the "Gypo Logger" method of a chainsaw file and a piece of sandpaper . Might be laughable but I ran that 044 and it didn't do bad .

Just got this tonight. Seems pretty solid but kinda heavy. I haven't used it yet.
I did some digging around online and found out that the #30 weights 5.87oz. and the #28 only weights 3.0oz.
I'm thinking that I will order a #28 just for its lighter weight. I think it will be a lot nicer for doing port bevels compared to using the #30 or the #44.IMG_2788.JPG

The harbor freight motor works fine. The CC right angle can be sold later if you don't want to keep doing them and not lose much of anything.

I have had a look for a cheaper alternative to the Foredom drive in 240V but cant find one.
Anyone have any suggestions?

I have a dremel with a flex shaft but want to upgrade to something better with a strait and 90* bit

You can get China knock off foredoms in 220-240v.

Where from mate?
eBay?

I've been looking into this too over the last week. I've found a few flex shafts that are suitable for us in Australia. Two are grobet and prodigy. Haven't found much in the way of reviews or knowledge about the two but they seem to be lower powered units than fordom, are 1.8 HP.

I haven't contacted any about shipping to Australia. There is also a 1/2 HP promax unit I've seen on amazon with a bad review and the knock off foredoms on ebay.

Ebay, Amazon, aliexpress.

Name brands I would use are Mastercarver, Foredom, ProMax, and Dremel. Then there are the knock offs that are also sold under Harbor Freight and Grizzly names that people have had success with but I'm not sure if they sell 220V models. Most of the knock offs don't have the reverse option.
