My buddy works at a small engine repair shop... he asked me if I would make him a few different size tools to remove crank seals... I did and of course I had to try them out... well, needless to say, I'm making myself some of these but a m better version.

You must have a taper attachment to cut threads on an angle like that?
I do have a taper attachment.

I've machined small, medium and big pullers.... I feel these work great... depending on your thread pitch and angle... I've tried 11tpi up to 18 tpi with different angles... some bite harder than others... while others need a little more downward pressure (when compared to others) in order to initiate the bite.

You must be right handed
Because i tried that damn lisle on all kinds of seals
It's resting in the woods after i threw it there
I have a multitude of screwdrivers to pop seals out no hassle no fighting no cussing no drama
The seals just come out
Unlike that lisle *s-word.

It’s reversible. I usually take the end off and get it in place first. Sometimes you have to apply the 10% rule

I have had the lisle for awhile and just broke the tip on it.
I also have various old flat heads modified for seal pulling.

Replacement tips are available, I bought a couple extra and cut down for smaller 044 seals etc
