With mist every type of tool available at my disposal, the one common denominator for the best success of an easy removal, is to tap the other side of the seal in just a little to loosen its grip and get it a bit off kilter first, before attempting to pull it.

Looks like the same tool ,I use to remove my truck wheel bearing seals ,

First purchased to remove seals on jeep axles. Gave it a try on saws and just need to tap straighter hook through rubber and pops right out. Many ways to get saws done.,

I have the Lisle. Works on everything so far

DITTO Mister Taggart. Jimmy of Carolina told me about the Lisle tool and how well it worked for the Little ones. The first few times were kinda entertaining.
