That sucks Randy. Maybe some epoxy might hold it in place. Going to always be a weak spot though without being welded.

Bottom right...needs a rebuild as it ate a locating pin.

At least yours is clean. Mine a dealer gave a bad diagnosis 4 years ago and they stored it under the house since then.

Its also an MS362C.

It's a new saw......and as such, needs to be undamaged.

Ten fo. Just making sure that there weren't bigger issues when that gets damaged. One of my saws has that cap protector cracked at the base and bent slightly toward the rear.

I fixed a 461 for a guy that was busted off......and leaked oil thru a crack from the damage. But.....usually it's just cosmetic damage.

Jimmy , that coil will have to be set up (I believe) with the MDG1 after it’s installed. Didn’t think of it until now.

Hmmm. Well we will see shortly how it does out of the box. If it needs an MDG1 it will get one attached. Ill let you all know how it does...
