Ok... so I talked to the owner and they are hell bent to get this saw going even after I offered to buy it / swap an invoice for it (over $200). It would be paying too much but I want an answer!

I stopped into my local dealer and pulled up a stool. Told the manager what was going on and he asked if I had the serial number. I told him I did and he said hang on. A few minutes later.. "yeah I can warranty that for you." WIN!

Now...the kicker. The high tension lead retainer is shown on all MS201s made. All have the same part number. The one sent to me is as close to fitting as me putting on my 5 year old's shoes. I will make this retainer work though...I will not loose another coil.

Wilson, or Hudson?
Hudson's in Garner.

I've had a hard time with both Wilson's and Hudson's in the past. Wilson's is flat ridiculous on prices which I am sure is due to their location. Hudson's has been hard but I have worked to build a relationship that benefits me and the company I work for. When I started buying multiple pieces at a time from the same individual and never being in a rush.. it still took time before they wanted to share. Long and short after about $10,000 in small equipment they know my name and they are a bit more eager to assist.

Anyone wanting to know why its such a big deal about swapping these coils...its not just price. This is how far the saw has to be apart to replace a coil. The areas pointed at by the screw driver are high tension lead holders that are only accessible with the fuel tank removed.
