Those forum guys in Sweden have a couple new video reviews out. One of the saw and one of the new chain.
Is the 372XP an inboard clutch? When he changes the chain on the 572XP in the second video it reveals an inboard clutch, having never personally seen an inboard clutch Husky I was surprised...

Looks like the saw is fairly loud ! in its standard form (if this one is in the vid is standard muffler wise )....also looks to be nice on the 20 inch bar for power and balance .

The 365/371/372 platform is an inboard clutch so it only makes sense that the 572 would fallow in that path.

That's really pretty cool, the new Husky C85 chain is faster than the old Husky H42 chain. Maybe because of more chip clearance room?

Anyway, I'm curious if anyone knows what gauge the new C85 chain comes in? Is it only standard 0.058 or any other gauges?

I'd like to see how C85 does against 73LGX which is also Husky H48 chain -- the LGX chain has no bumper guards like the H42 does and I would bet LGX would do pretty well against C85 -- maybe better than H42.
The C85 looks a lot like LGX... wonder what the differences are. Also wonder if Oregon makes C85 like Oregon makes H48 for Husky which is simply their LGX chain. I think a recent Husky H48 I bought has Oregon on the tie straps but the 48 on the drive link. The LGX in 0.058 that I use has 73 on the driver. I use 0.058 everywhere except 32" bar on the 385 I use 75JGX which is 0.063 in skip version of LGX...

I run .050 on my 16" bar, but husky's 0.058 on my 20" 562xp, 24" 372xp, and 32" 395xp. I don't really care if it ISNT available in other, non-husky gauges, I just thought it looks sweet, works well and wanted to know if Stihl guys can run it. Lol.

Also, all my 3/8 chain is LGX, so that's a really great point about comparing H48 to the new C85. I'll suggest that to the Swede who made he video.

It's definitely coming out of huskies new chain factory. They've made quite a point about it.

I saw the chain factory -- lots of automation which is my day job. Might point them to our LSM systems instead of using belt conveyors could speed up their production and allow better control of whatever they are moving on those.

Be nice to get some LGX and C85 loops at a GTG w/ some pine and oak/maple we have a lot of here in new england and do some timed cuts... off the roll grind.

"An experimental chain on an experimental saw, that sounds like an experiment." Thinking along those lines, can anyone guess that movie? Clue, it's a manly movie, not the *s-word at the theater today.
