Nice haul.... I tell ya I don't know if ou have ever smoked any food, but cherry used to smoke pork is a DAMN good combination..... I smoked some pork chops few weeks ago with cherry and hickory...I really couldn't believe how good it was....

I should add I am just now starting to dabble in smoking, so I am an amateur for sure....

Scored a few oaks at the local tennis club. Cutting was fun. Hauling them out to my trailer on a garden cart; not so much. And it's been raining most of the morning. Still beats being at work, though. Lol

Damn man, did you fell that tree.... looks like it was righ up on the house, I would about bet the roots have caused them some issues!!!

Was too tall to fell and was right on the patio and boat, I had to piece down the top and swing a few branches around. My friend had been fighting the roots for years since a new stamped concrete patio had been poured and it was affecting the health of the tree. Had been talking about it for years and finally found the time.

Started covering a couple of the dry ones last night, was dark by the time I finished. I do this in the fall so when it rains it does not freeze up and get snow and ice on them later. Otherwise I leave 'em be. Important to just cover the top so air can move around through it. If I make some late I won't cover them until last thing before the snow flies.
