I spent most of the morning collecting wood but when I got back home I put the 8 pin sprocket on the P100. It came to me that way(8-pin) but I swapped it for a 7- pin because I figured the saw could use the extra torque. I was very surprised when it came to running it. The bigger sprocket did nothing to reduce any torque that I could tell. The saw just really smoothly blasted thru hard wood with little or no effort.
Since putting an 8 pin on a 500i and being disappointed with it I’ve been kinda soured to the 8- pin thing. My o66 seems to like it. And after today my P100 likes it. Was a pleasant surprise.
It’s probably a displacement thing. The 066 is 92cc (I think) and the P100 is 100cc. 500i is 78cc.
