Yes I do believe so. This one was painting my fingers black when I started cleaning it. When it sees fuel again it'll start turning gummy.

I gots a spare boot, Size 12 ready ta kick ya up yo back side. :D

Send me yo addy and it's yours. It is used but still very good.

I figured what the hell and popped it together, with the not so good boot, just to run it. I lubed the hell out of it and got it on there without the lip ripping open.

It seems to have pretty good throttle response. Inside the garage makes it sound like it's revving way way higher than it really is.

Sounds really good. How much port work did you do to it?

Thank you, I only worked on the exhaust. The new reed valve is what really makes it run good. As Lee mentioned about the clutch... it makes a big difference when the bar and chain is on there.
Looking forward to seeing some test cuts. Great build thread btw.

It won't wind up as fast as say an 084 but once it gets there there isn't much difference in the way they cut .That thing was made for long bars and big wood where they really shine .Sounds good .

She's running pretty good. Now slap a 60 incher on her and see what It will do.
I have a SP125 I restored and I run a 60 incher with 3/8-8 and it pulls it nicely.

Boot went out today. USPS said Monday arrival.

The longest I own is a 48" Both the Mac 125's and the Homelite 2100s do just fine with 8 pin .404 .Longest for the 084 is 42" ,it's got a 7 pin .404 .Never tried it with an 8 pin .None of these saws get much use and should last forever .

Thank you kindly sir!

I do have a 60" .404 set up ready to try out. It's some old school full comp chain too.20180202_184420.jpg

If I'm lucky I'll be able to run a cut or two in a 55" to 65" log.
