Frank, You get those off the bay? I seen them and almost called Greg to
make an offer but I just bought 4 bars from him two weeks ago. Those
are nice looking bars.
I got my 48" from him. Good guy to deal with. I dealt with him directly instead of thru ebay.

Yes, I made an offer for the solo 603, as well as the two Mcculloch Bars.

I wish I would have seen the 090 bar he has as well...would have liked to get that one too.

I've bought a lot from Greg over the years. Always off the bay. Saves us both money.
Good guy to deal with.

I think I may have seen some of his ads on CList as well. Not 100% sure, but I was messaging him back and forth about a sp125 a few months ago. I’ll have to get ahold of him to do future business off the bay as well. Thanks Lee

He had two 125's and some long bars posted on Craigslist a few months ago... I went to his house to buy a saw from him, but it was a few years back. He lives less than 50 miles from me, in Redding.

Yep..it was him that i was messaging back and forth then. Price was just a bit out of my budget at the time...figured if I waited a little while, I’d come across another for less

He always starts high but is usually very negotiable.

Parts for 125s and 101s on Ebay are starting to bring premium prices. Back when Ebay first started, a good used 125 cylinder could be had for $15-20, and one for a 101AA, 101B, or 101D could be had for $35-50. Cranks could be had for $15-30. NOS piston kits were $18-40. Not so much anymore.

I can definitely see that I have gotten into chainsaws way too late. Chatting with one guy a few hours away...I’d love Ron see some of the saws that have passed through his hands.
Stories of truckloads of big saws..that he, even then, realized he was selling way too cheap.
166’s, big homies, 090’s, kms-4, etc.
now finding saws like these for a decent price is
Quite a challenge.

4 large saws ,2 Mac 125s' a Mac 105 and a Homelite 2100 s .When I got them off e-bay at different times I only had maybe 125 a pop in them . It seemed 10-12 years ago nobody was interested in them .

Bars and chains were inexpensive also .I don't think I had over 40 bucks in the NOS 48" hard nose Mac bar and about 50 in a Oregon Stihl mount for the 84 that came with a chain included .My golly have prices gone up .
