FWIW, I went back to page 2 and re-read the exchange. It didn’t appear to be an attack at all. He simply replied asking for an explanation. He then replied to several others on the topic as well. The way I read it, no one was upset. These last couple pages certainly escalated.

If you don't think these farmers that are farming thousands of acres don't get help you're crazy. They run around here bidding ground to 20000 an acre or more so nobody else can afford it. It's corporate welfare

I can go on with quotes if you would like but what I have presented is very clear. It is clear you got very pissy when I asked you to explain a few things. Please note when you were making comments regarding the Farm Bill and attributing it to "welfare" I asked you on two occasions if you were a father and/or if you went to public schools. For whatever reason you never answered. When you were talking about taxes I asked if you were in Peoria County or a surrounding one. Again for whatever reason you never answered. Neither of those questions are very personal nor are they "doxing". I asked them to get a better understanding of your situation. I am not sure if you were just having a bad day or what but if you would like to have a real discussion of the subject that you introduced then I am ready, willing, and able to discuss it in a civil manner. The thread started out discussing You-tube millionaires and you brought farmers into that. If you want to discuss framing then let's do that.

Two weeks ago Saturday I ran across a very small Hornets nest with active Hornets. I joked I was going to bag it up and send it to the next person that called me an arsehole.

Well if you have "been around farmers" then it might be best to learn from them instead of criticize them. I have "been around" many disgruntled UAW employees from Cat, Deere, IH, and Case. I listened and learned from them.

I have no issue not quoting him but I will always dispel misinformation regarding Agriculture.

A while back I joked about making a you tubber channel about popping coyotes. It was a joke but it did get me thinking about a wild idea I have have had for a few years. I just called a guy down in Peoria County to see if he was interested

There's a state program for reduced cost hi-tunnel green houses but it involves growing specific varieties of food and giving state officials access to your land for "inspection purposes"....neither of which im particularly interested in.

Looked into that as well. Once I saw the hooks they trap you with, I said no way. In order to take an animal to UT vet clinic, I would have to eat tag them and register them with the state. They then have a right to come and take a brain sample if they want. Which means they can destroy an animal, and you can't stop them. We don't participate in any programs. They can fugg right off.

The high tunnel craze is here also. About 4 years ago my brother put one up. I am sure there was some assistance. Last year my neighbor on & acres put one up. She even quit her job to tend to it. I started looking into one but gave up.

I also called the NRCS inquiring about a medium sized soil conservation project. When I told them I estimated the cost at $150,000. They said were not interested. They are no longer concerned with soil conservation and water pollution but by God some modern yuppie buys up a 20 acre tract of land NRCS will fence it for their horses and slap up a high tunnel to grow taters in.
