He's likely using an impact. I use one all the time, to DISASSEMBLE/LOOSEN bolts. Took me about 2 saws to figure out using it for assembly was a no-no. The work repairing threads wasn't worth the increased assembly speed. But that factors in giving-a-shít and actually doing the repairs.Wonder what he uses.. All of the shavings are getting saved so I can dump them into the case just before i bolt it down for the last time
+1I use one both for assembly, and disassembly. I just don't use it to tighten the bolts. I snug them up, and then tighten with a tee handle.
As you said, it's a matter of give a damn.
