XS Slabs

Hi,

I am new here. I enjoy slabbing big logs in Florida. I have two stock 3120xp's but I recently purchased an "XS" 3120xp powerhead I found on Facebook and was listed for sale at this site too. I had never ran a ported saw and did a lot of reading first. I am glad I invested in this third 3120xp. I have done two logs so far and love the saw. I will probably send one of my stock 3120xp's to @huskihl at some point.

I brought a XS3120 from @Armbru84 for some Oak we're milling at present, 72" bar
Very nice and powerful saw, although I've had no experience with a 3120 in stock form

Yes, single powerhead. I have three Cannon bars I use for milling: 42", 50", and 72". I have two Grandberg mills, a 60" mill and a 36" mill. I also have 84" rails I picked up when they had a sale, but have not needed them yet. If I found a very nice log, I would not mind investing in a 96" double ended bar, but I will wait until I have a need for it, which may be never.

I don’t like the milling process much but I love seeing the result. My 3120 is not XS ported, but I love it, and I most of my other saws are XS.

The XS stable is in good shape. Very pleased with how the 359/7 is going
