First....we generally discourage our members talking about religion, or politics. The reason is simple. People tend to be extremely closed minded. They only want to hear other people's thoughts when they neatly mesh with their own. So when an individual with an opposing idea chimes in....chaos results....feeling are hurt....enemies are made. So, we try to avoid these subjects.

What has happened even without those subjects? People are so closed minded that they ended up with their panties wadded up over someone dissing their preferred brand of garden tool.

The moral of this story? People are incredibly silly.....and will find a way to get their feelings hurt regardless of what the subject matter is.

So.....

I'll share from my personal experience.....just what I've seen in my 55 years.

I've had the pleasure of getting screwed over by a car salesman who had Jesus pamphlets all over his office, and gospel music playing on his speakers. Two "Christian" contractors beat me out of large sums of money. Every time you turn on the news these days some feller that was just telling everyone else how to live is getting caught doing some dastardly deed. That's just a few examples......I've seen a great many more.

Does this mean all Christians are bad? Of course not. But hypocrisy weighs heavily on my mind.

So many bad actors are using religion as a cover that it makes the entire group look bad.

Just my experience.

From 65 years of living, when someone I don't know tells me how Christian they are and how much they love the Lord, I run. It's happened I don't know how many times that they are utter scum. With few exceptions. Watch out, watch out, watch out.

It's not that Christians are bad.....it's that bad people hide behind religion.

If he declares bankruptcy he had to list all open debts he was discharging and that would include the saw customers and they would receive notice from the court of his bankruptcy proceedings and result
I call mega-ultra-*B-S....
Ya gotta list 'em first...bankruptcy attorneys know no more or no less...than you're willing to tell 'em, aside from running a credit check on you to determine owed balances, discharges that are in default, debts associated with a business account(s) if any, etc, etc.

Transactions of this nature...credit card info over the phone, money paid via PP, check sent in the mail, money order...hell, let's throw in carrier pigeon...none of those 'payment plans' are 'tangible' so to speak when it comes to divulging them for bankruptcy. They are certainly tangible to the people who got taken, and had to take it on the chin...without a doubt.

If anything, he'd a just made himself look like an even bigger turd in a punchbowl by divulging such...not that bankruptcy attorneys give a *s-wordt anyhow. And yes...individual folks would've gotten a response from the court concerning such had he listed them as a debt to discharge.

Unfortunate for folks caught up in this *s-wordt sandwich, Steve Miller couldn't have sang it better...Go On Take The Money And Run!

I've often found that our so called peace loving Volvo (now Prius) driver type ultra liberals are the most violent when they don't get their way.

So, you have been to our fine county here in the rat race.
Sometimes when they're in their car....right up until the redneck or hillbilly wants to mash their mini by running them over or drag them out for a well earned thump. Nothing to violent. Just a small adjustment. Did I say that out loud.

I have found zero difference, people on one side will always claim the other side is worse, that's human nature/perception. People who are radical are radical, it doesn't matter what the point of view is.[emoji111]

You bought a Volvo?
There was a guy that had a big block Chevy in a B Volvo with a fiberglass tilt front with nice big Crower stack injectors in the early 80. That's about the only one that appealed to me.

The 70's Volvos were not built as the "safety cars" they were touted as they had small brakes and came apart easily.

I drive a city transit bus and we take off more Volvo doors than all other vehicles combined, well until that mindset switched over to Prius's. God save us from the increasingly airhead educated class. Rant over.

I always wonder about that - do they want a safe car because they know they are a bad driver?
