Is there a build thread on this one? Or perhaps more information. I have a recent hunger for dolmar/Makita stuffs.

I built that in 2014, Makita 9000 with 9010 flywheel, coil and carb, and 395 big bore cylinder. I'm pretty sure I made a thread on AS but I can't find it now. Doesn't matter as all the content would be lost because of photo bucket pandering for money.

So, the whole idea behind this build was get get a Stihl to compete with the piped 3140’s. I have a pipe that was originally on this saw, but at some point I believe I’d like to get @spencerpaving to build me a new one.
Getting fuel to this pig is another hurdle.

Kept the bearing bosses .0005 undersized. Had to warm the cases just a fuzz to get her in there.
