Head is off the 090 jug and most of the case is clearanced.

This is where I’m at now. I need a good way to hold the case so I can mill it off perfect with the deck.

Also need to bore the case out to gain clearance for the piston.

Just bust out the 4.5 inch grinder and get on it.
Eh....the grinder has its place, but usually on a jug tho. For precise flattening work like that, I prefer the belt sander with 80 grit. If you eyeball it right, you shouldn't need more than a count of two potato after you touch off.

Tall v-blocks (crankshaft v-blocks) with spacers in the bearing bores is how I've done it in the past.

I like that idea, I’ve got a set of V-blocks. Just have to see if they are tall enough.

I’d like to set it up on my rotary table, I’m not a big fan of a boring head but I’m not totally against it.

I like that idea, I’ve got a set of V-blocks. Just have to see if they are tall enough.

I’d like to set it up on my rotary table, I’m not a big fan of a boring head but I’m not totally against it.
If you thread the bases of the V-blocks you can bolt on risers.
