In my opinion "participation trophies" are lame, and another example of the over-coddling damage done by so many parents in this day and age. Just because a kid doesn't eat the booger he pulled out of his nose, doesn't make him a firetrucking genius.

My soon to be 10 year old eats all his beorgers and the one time they did get the everyone gets a trophy I threw them away and I tell them to man up all the time.
