I would be willing to bet my farm that you are correct. This is not a hoax.

What so many folks are missing is the "Novel" part of this Coronavirus. That means we have no immunity or resistance to this virus.

None......nada......zero.....zip.

When Europeans first came to North America they brought with them viruses such as the common cold that killed scores of Native Americans. They had no immunity to the common cold.

Now we are the Native Americans that have no immunity.

I hope those of us who aren't taking this seriously because we live in rural or remote areas will read more about how this simple virus is killing people all over the world simply because their bodies cannot produce antibodies to fight it. Turn off the talking heads, and read. Forget your biases and read the things you wouldn't normally read.

Yes......some folks only suffer mild symptoms, while others have their lungs fill with fluid and the drown. I'd hope that we all, as caring humans would think of those who will die rather than ourselves at this point. Kids will lose their parents and grandparents if we can't find a way to control the spread of this virus.

Just got the call today to start back at work tomorrow. My vacation comes to an end.

Just read that NC governor is talking of going into phase 2 of his reopening of the State.
Glad to hear that. Praying that all you guys on the forum are safe and well in these days.
Looking forward to getting back to some normalcy of life!

I find it hard to believe every living human has not been effected by covid 19 in some way.

I am retired and I have been effected. My group used to have bi monthly brunch at a resturant. been 6 weeks now and we have not had a meeting.

I'm like pages behind. Kim, my wife, got a spot on Live, CH10 NBC in Philly at 11:40 Monday morning. Didn't get much of a bump from it. The good news is after some time they moved all the inventory online. The business expanded, kinda. Problem now is will people come out when they can reopen the retail studio space. If not the twenty three years prior won't matter.

It's been ok for me. I've been catching up on my own projects and I have about half of them done.
The people that set up auctions can't get together for setting up on my folks estate yet, so I've been getting the property looking good and bringing the electrical up to code. The real estate agent just has to be patient, so I'm not rushed and can do nice work.
I haven't been able to get a haircut,... wait,.... I haven't had a haircut in probably 20 years. A word of caution, if you have a ponytail, don't use a creeper to get under a vehicle.
There haven't been many cases of covid up here, but people are starting to get careless. Families from the cities are heading to their cottages and campgrounds up north.
