I've pretty much isolated myself on line to just this forum and utube because of all the constant sensory overload of daily bullcrap. I was doing well for a while, just my wife, boy, horse and my dog. I don't have TV, no radio except a CD player, and my internet is spotty because of my backwoods location. I figured if the crap going on in the world didn't directly effect me then don't worry about it.....so I was wrong.
I recently had to give up my future employment opportunity because my horse had to go down the road. Suddenly my hay guy more than doubled hay prices, now it's 450 a ton and limited availability. That subject I am still hurt over and don't even want to talk about it.
Going into winter is the dark months round here, so very depressing most of the time. I wrapped up the last of my firewood sales this last week so that time in nature without being bound to a time clock has ended.
Now my winter commercial thinning job I was recently told that this year might be the last, due to lack of funding by the state.
So I go to hang out with a loggin buddy, and he rambles on about, did you hear this, did you hear about that, referencing our president and political crap. I had to walk out, too much crap going on for me to keep up with.
Then fighting health issues with my wife, myself, and my son seems to always have a cold so can't go to school, yea it just keeps going, unlike anything I've ever been a part of my entire life.
Trying to cope but running out of outlets so I figured I would rant on here.
I will go out sawing on the property today to give my brain a break from reality, sadly that break only lasts while I'm sawing, then as soon as I hit the stop switch, reality hits with a bang.
