I might seriously consider getting rid of my 372xp for a ported MS460/1 one of these days. I really like the feel of the saw but the exhaust note coupled with the air injection whine tends to be an assault on the ears...

My vote goes to the 10 mm KS jug Stihl 044, which is why I have 2 of them (one ported).

They are about the lightest 70 cc saw out there, extremely durable, and with a few simple mods you can do yourself, will run right with most of those 77 cc saws.

It is a saw that is light enough, and powerful enough, to do it all. Smaller saws can't hold a candle to it bucking, and bigger saws are not as suitable for limbing.

The 272/372 saws have similar attributes.
