Not my favorite but really cool. Danarm made in England ,I was told it's about 70 cc. Look at the two piece head and backwards flywheel! Seems to be a very well built vintage saw .

My fav in the 70 cc would be the Stihl 038 mag .It's my favorite of all the Stihl saws actually .

May not quite be 70 but @ 68cc's the Sachs Dolmar 120SI and 6800I's are my favorite.
Use them in my small firewood biz and cut a lot of wood with em.

I might seriously consider getting rid of my 372xp for a ported MS460/1 one of these days. I really like the feel of the saw but the exhaust note coupled with the air injection whine tends to be an assault on the ears...

My vote goes to the 10 mm KS jug Stihl 044, which is why I have 2 of them (one ported).
They are about the lightest 70 cc saw out there, extremely durable, and with a few simple mods you can do yourself, will run right with most of those 77 cc saws.
It is a saw that is light enough, and powerful enough, to do it all. Smaller saws can't hold a candle to it bucking, and bigger saws are not as suitable for limbing.
The 272/372 saws have similar attributes.
