Here’s a good sized oak. About the last tree I cut up early this year or late last year.

Two tree that me and @Scotty Overkill did.

Red oak around 4 ft. That is Scotty's 1959 Contra with a 42"bar. This is one that my 661 would've been in but it wouldn't start that day, it was still M-tronic then.



Kentucky coffee tree that I posted on another thread. Around 55" at the base. I got to use the 661 on it, this was after the M-tronic was deleted. Scotty pictured for comparison. Sorry I didn't take a picture with my saw buried in the wood.

Sounds like operator error with the tree companies employees. Maybe a little education on how to run them according to the post Julian made could keep the saws out of the shop.
If I owned the tree company, I would educate the employees.

You mean teach them to handle them with white gloves? That should work well...

I think they’re a bad husky copy in my opinion. Mounts don’t last, mtronic is hit or miss on them, power is almost as good as a 395. Only tho it has on the 395 is handling and it’s not that big of s difference for me to care.

Read further. Several share there experience on the av limiter pocket of the cases that supposedly fails. However, I haven’t had that problem on a 661 though yet.
