Well, both seals are out of that TS 400, but I have never had so much trouble pulling seals before, even broke one of my modified screwdrivers.

I think a real seal puller tool may be in my future. The time I wasted pulling these seals just does not make sense.

Oem is around 200.00

Seen a poulan 330 54cc with the 22" 3/8 for sale. Sticker shows 2007. While I was out I found a JD bar cover to put on the shop wall too.
I was told poulan ran. It did. But needed a air filter cover, air filter base being the stud was broke off in base and drywall screw was used to hold cover onto base, both right side lower AV's were ripped apart, fuel line needed replaced. The issue with the recoil was the rusted and broken recoil spring. Thank goodness I still had all those parts still.

Went ahead and pulled the tube out of muffler and opened up the inside cage too.

Some before and after pics. I put a 20" to test with.

Did you happen to tap the seal with a socket to help loosen and making removal easier?

No, but I think these concrete saws make everything more difficult (that dust gets into everything).

The power side was already recessed about 1/8", and I had the small one on the flywheel side spinning and still could not get it out. They were just the two most difficult seals that I have ever removed.

What a pain in the @$$ to get the carb out on this old saw. Wish i had a kit hear so i could clean and get it back togeather.

This carb has no high and low mix screws. The holes are ther but its solid inside. Guess thers no adjusting this one. I do have anothe old mac that has this style carb. I should pull it out and put side.by side and see if they are.pretty close.

Well i just pulled.other carb off and upon inspection they stuck the H and L needles on the other sidemof carb. No need to switch lol.
Most these old tilly carbs seem to be quite similar.
