Cleaned her up and attached a new bar and chain.
Went from the factory 10” to a 14” sugi with accompanying chain. The little saw balances perfect. Not nose heavy at all and with enough power for that 14” chain.
Spent the afternoon on my little 3-point chipper cleaning. This saw was handy limbing bigger tree down a bit to fit to keep the chipper chugging.
Next up is a muffler mod.
Only thing I notice is oil dripping everywhere now.
The bar has two sets of Oiler holes.
Oil still reaches the tip but a lot is being wasted.
Gonna have to figure something out to cover the stihl Oiler holes.

I cut a small piece of the heat tape i use under and around the muffler. Clean the bar really well, properly affix it (warm it up a little with a low heat from heat gun and then roll/pressure scrape it with a screwdriver handle) let it cool and run it. Works fine and lasts awhile.
