The bench is being built to fix my stuffs.
What should the bench top wood be make of?

Locust, maple, oak, be specific and state why you think it will be best for small engines. Two to three inch max top thickness. Three inch space below the top with double draws. Initial base will be 3'x5' portable wood frame. I have thick aluminum and mild steel plate for bench welding cover. White oak is the frame. I have 5/4 pressure treated oak plywood if needed.
First up is rehab 660's.

Make two plywood tops. Now you have four surfaces...That should last about until you're done.

EFI Kohler on an eXmark Lazer. No start, no communication to or from the ECU. The ECU, MAP, MAF, TPS, and Crankshaft position sensors all test good. Has a break somewhere in the engine harness. :BangHead:

My 28hp EFI seems to run lean all the time. When I'm done mowing the exhaust is glowing red. I've changed the fuel filter and the fuel pressure looks good. Any ideas mower guru?

Flywheel key partially sheared maybe, or possibly a bad Crankshaft Position Sensor? (Doubt the sensor, it probably would not run at all). It MIGHT be the Throttle Position Sensor, they can cause all kinds of weird issues but again I doubt it, they do not fail that often. Best guess without being able to see it is a bad Oxygen Sensor, ECU thinks it is over rich and tripping into a lean run mode.

I have a new O2 sensor, I'll swap that in and see if it gets better. I should be able to test the throttle position sensor with a 5v supply and a volt meter?

Nice score! I really like the fs120 200 250, the fs250 cylinder is a bolt on! I did that to my fs120r, China cylinder and caber rings, it’s been a runner! I have an all oem fs250, and the China cylinder out runs it!
