Local text me (I know him) he is looking for a cheap small saw on a 100 budget. Told him got some cheaper and one right at that budget. Plus many more higher if he wanted to trade in bang bangs.

Echo 3900 I been using around the house with 12" 3/8LP for myself for 7-8 years.
But now it is set up with what it came with .325 for him. So will see if he follows through and picks it up.

Amazing how well it cleaned up. I used that WD40 spray on spray off once and then 2nd time spray on brushed and spray off. I'm talking it was pig in the mud dirty.

If anyone watched the 68 Cougar GTE clip, it has erroneous info. While a few 68 Cougars did get 427s (no Mustangs ever did), they were NOT side oiler blocks. A side oiler is not drilled for a hydraulic cam. The de tuned 427 they put in the Cougar did have a hydraulic cam.

Joe, you are making me feel good. I ripped one of my 440 BBs down today, and there was no carbon on the piston or cylinder at all, and oil everywhere.

AMSOIL Saber at 40:1.

Hey fellas, where does one go for Oem husky parts?

Later 262 worm gear, clutch spring and clutch drum needle bearing specifically.

And by the way, I’m having a hard time ID the bearing it’s an
“Ina sec 55”?

Bailey’s has the parts but it’s always a pain to get it here and since it’s husky they say it’s a 2 week back order.

Heck with that.

Thanks y’all

I use the HD Loctite even on Stihls. Every now and then you just get one that likes to vibrate the bolts out. Must be something with the harmonics.

They are sometimes tough to remove, but they do come out, undamaged.

Awe hell, I’ve been using loctite blue..

Wait is there a thread locker thread yet?
There needs to be a thread locker thread.

Oi, huskyboy,
By sitting overnight, do you apply to the bolts then dry, then insert or apply, insert, then let sit overnight?

Ok picked this out of the scrap yard bin. Asked the guy if they ever get chainsaws in. He brought this back to me. I asked him how much and he said he'd have to ask the boss. I pulled the starter rope and it felt like there was good compression so I was in for it. Swear to God I turn my back and then turn back around and he said my boss said 10 bucks. I laughed knowing that there was no one else around except us and offered him five. He stuck the five right in his pocket. LOL! Someone tried to replace the fuel lines and had one line running from the carb up to the primer the other line from the carb went to the Oiler:) no wonder why it was in the scrap bin:risas3: image.jpgimage.jpg

It actually has a good bar and chain on it. The spark plug hole is pretty buggered and she may have went in there a little crooked but it's tight. I changed the fuel lines. Gutted the muffler and made a homemade air filter out of a piece of cushion. Threw some red armor in her and she fired on about the fifth pull. So ultimately I'm testing this and I need it for one job. I want to use it to dig a trench to run an electrical line. From what I've read most people frown on it but I want to give it a shot I guess my question is do you put the chain on forward or backwards for optimal hillbilly performance? I figure not to use chain oil as it would gum everything up and it would probably be better just to throw dried dirt. Comments and criticisms the more the better. image.jpgSpeed enhancing ;) like i said it has to make it about 50' and i got about $6 in the whole thing minus fuel. I see no down side:risas3:
