It looks like just casting flaws, not real cracks, it should be fine, but pull the crank and see, could be bad

When you burn them in winter.
Hard to tell from the pics, but the cylinder might clean up. Is the rest of the saw in decent shape? That piston is not looking to good.Plot thickens.
P-60 piston after some cleanup.
I’ve found a chip and some gouges.
And the piston ring grooves look pretty carbonized.

The scoring has gone down a bit.

I don't recommend any grinding in the cylinder. What's done is done. I don't have a link, but look up the Mastermind clean up method. It works great. The piston from little red barn will work ok. It will at least get you back up and running. Nos stuff is really hard to find these days for the Pioneer saws.Thank you sir.
