Genius. I should start making my own miller lite too.

Looks nice. What's the recipe?
Well the recipe started as a partial grain American wheat. I deleted some of the finishing hops and added Valencia orange peel and switched the yeast to a Hefe/Ale yeast. I'll let let you know in a month if it's a success!

Do u like the Milwaukee drill beaglebrair? Do u think it would put decking screws in?
It'll run a few in without any problem. I prefer the 1/4" impact for screws anymore. I tapped most of my maple trees this year with the drill.(about 50 5/16" holes)

I got the drill and impact combo mainly for the work bench because they're lightweight . I find myself leaving the 18 volt stuff behind and grabbing these little guys a lot more now when doing odd jobs around the house.

What's your thoughts on the 357 Tor? The one I just built seems a little lethargic compared to the other small huskies in my fleet.

Maybe I'm just expecting too much out of it or a little spoiled by the ported saws...

Those saws are atracked to you Tor

No wonder your the master
thanks Mike, but, I do know about a guy who build a few super pretty 242's right now ;)

Really nice saws Tor! Got me a little jealous with all those G's!
its easier to get a G saw here compared against a non G saw.
Maskin Salg Evje who is my main dealer sell a tad over 50% 550's, they never sold a 550xp...

I prefer a ported 346, for awhile I had 3×357 and I'm down to one now, this one is a keeper though.
I'm a fan of slim saws, if I'm first up in the 357 class I think I will prefer a 560.

I know the 2159 I got with the lower transfers fiddled with like to get nice and warmed up before it starts pulling hard.

That's exactly where I'm at with this 357. It don't hold a candle to the 562 and the 346 is a better performer in a smaller package.

I'll stick my twirly thing in it eventually and see what happens. Too many projects at the moment so that'll probably be awhile.

Good to know. I'll get it out a little more here when the weather straightens out. Doesn't have much run time at all right now.

Wow Tor I'm pretty sure if I ask the dealers around me about a 550xpg they will look at me like I speak another language. Kinda like last week when I called a couple shops about getting my 550 carb updated. First shop i ask and explain the saw is torn apart for a rebuild. They say oh first we would have to put the saw together before we could do anything with the carb. I ask ok what would the charge be to update the carb. Well our diagnostic fee is $50. Ok thanks for your time...bye. Second shop explained there hourly rate is $70 but it shouldn't take that long...ok thanks for your time...bye! Next call was to spike60!

Good move. I think Bob's the only dealer in the damn country that truly understands how this auto tune stuff works.

None of the local dealers here are worth the powder to blow them to hell.
