It's warmer outside then in my shop. So I'm working on my saws outside.
1991 Stihl 021 built from 2 parts saws.
This will be my beater saw for cleaning out scrub trees.
Not pretty but runs great. All Stihl oem except the Farmertech brake handle.
Just need a new chain and it's done. Tuned it today.

I got a chance to run a 045 that was built by @Chainsaw Jim That was awesome I also ran a Echo @Red97 built dang stout 50cc saw great work Men.

That 045 was a pure torque monster! We had a blast running all of the saws, little echo I pressed for it's size

It's warmer today so I'm working in my shed/shop.
Stihl MS170 I bought two plus years ago. I bought in parts almost two saws, so I'm taking the best parts to build this one.
I do have a new bar and chain I bought on clearance at TSC.

So I layed out all the parts to make sure I have everything, and mocked up the chainbrake side to make sure it was all there and worked.
No IPL, building this one from memory.
Still need to make a split mandrel to clean the transfer of the bore, clean and reassemble the engine, and rest of the saw.
Low on cash so I had to use an AM piston and ring. Hope its okay.

Did old Tilly HS today. Had to reprofile the H&L to get them back. Mega mashed up H side went from 1 1/2 to about 7/8. Much better!

Will try to do a tad with those two this week:
359, simple service, see if I can find a dealer with a used front handle bar and a top cover, and I need a dekal. Not sure if I gone port her or not, I'll probleby sell her.




357, will split her, and build her up with a new gasket kit, oem seals, SKF 6202 C3 VG104 bearings. If I rememeber correct I already put in new carb kit and fuel lines + filter. We're porting this one, it's a keeper.
And of course this one also miss a few parts like brake flag and a muffler.
