We went with Decra steel shingles on the new building(s), we had them installed on the house several years ago follow and earlier hail event. I will assume they are O.K. but everything will be inspected soon.

Ouch...had a similar thing happen while living in Maryland, had a hail storm that caused enough damage to the roof of the house, it only took the insurance inspector 30 seconds to tell us we were getting a new roof. The hail even took off the side mirror on our van too, it was crazy!!

Ah, so it is an old PS. With the side tooling I figured it was 50s Mac
Shipping from Canuckistan is the real killer…plus the duties.
Looks like it could be restored and painted to look fairly new.

The Lancaster 400 is done, runs on prime. Since it is going into the display I didn't want to make a mess with fuel and oil.
The high top front handle (bar) is the oil tank. Gravity flow to the bar pad, the oiler valve is opened when the throttle is opened

Next project, maybe the last before the Open House 8/9 May is this Mozwood. Mozwood saws were made in Durango, Iowa in a small shop run by a man named Elmo Jameson. They bought engines from West Bend and had other castings made in the Midwest. They were also a dealer for Propulsion Products Titan saws.
It was pretty rough coming in, and stuck tight. Turns out it was the flywheel side bearing, not the piston and cylinder that was stuck.
Since the paint was in such bad condition, and the flywheel cover all rusty I decided to give it the full Monty in preparation for the display.

The Ford chainsaw is a runner. Someone had apparently been into the carburetor and lost the needle valve lever spring and replaced it with what they thought would be an equivalent. Over 40 lb of pressure would not pop the needle valve off its seat.
