Well…the cyl.Want the cylinder or the saw?

That oil channel inside the bar is wild. Is this bar tip sprocket much different than today's?

Laminated? The sprocket nose bars were a similar design to the consumer bars of today. The sprocket teeth are quite different since the A-8 chain was 1/2" pitch but the drivers were similar in size to 3/8" pitch chain.

Not really, I think they find him!!!Mark is the finder of lost and rare chainsaws and accompanying parts, pieces, accessories and manuals!!
And the verdict is?An attempt to fix leaky Pioneer oil and gas caps:
On the gas cap, I removed the inner plastic vent valve holder, drilled the center hole, and inserted a Homelite style duck bill vent into it. Then I epoxied the other holes closed, and epoxied the retainer back into the cap. We’ll see how it does.
On the oil cap, I removed the screw holding the cap retainer, stuffed some gauze into the area above the vent hole, and put the cap retainer back on, smooshing the gauze firmly into place.
Heat gun…come on, we’re impatient here…Still drying![]()
