This is the HD air filter on one of my 461s after approx ten tanks of fuel.
And no, I don't run dull chains.

And this broken spark plug on my neighbours 026 cut my right index finger pretty good when I tried to unscrew it by hand.

How do they break like that does anyone know?
I believe that a spark plug breaks if it falls on something hard

I got it for free, I only drove a car that cost $15 in fuel. A lot of cleaning, carburetor adjustment and a few screws, and the screw between the dogs is not shown in the catalog, but since I had it, I added it by correcting the factory 😉 Someone installed a different cable holder and I tested the fuel cap from a lawn mower. He is 18 years old

Quick question for you all. I've got a couple chainsaws that have primer bulbs, but the previous owners took the fuel line off them.

The question. Is the primer supposed to pull fuel through the carb and back to the tank? Or, push fuel into the carb?

Im thinking it pulls through the carb. Is this right? Or is that dependent on manufacturers?

Pulls it through the carb, and returns it to the tank.

Thinking it pulls it from the tank and pushes it into the carb? 🤷‍♂️

That's what I was originally thinking, but if that's how it worked, I would think it would flood the engine with just a couple pumps.

Pulls it through the carb, and returns it to the tank.

Thank you Randy! That's what I thought. But wanted to be sure.

I don't know what is wrong, the speed screw is at max. closed and the turnover is low anyway. The needle can be depleted or enriched so that the engine stalls. And there is practically no reaction to the gas button. A carburetor with 2 passages, it's the first time I've seen something like this / The engine starts and does not turn off

Strato carb. Uses air to purge the cylinder, not fuel/air mix. OEM carbs are expensive. You can get a cheap Chinese carb on Amazon or eBay. Might solve your problem quickly?

There are some on Amazon that look right and are even cheaper, but they don't state proper part numbers or compatibility.

18 years old, it may also be bad crankshaft seals or maybe the muffler is clogged 🤷‍♂️ I will check or break the mesh in the muffler
