The bike is on a hanger because it's cold, so you have to look at the front light, the switch doesn't work

Thanks. Bought the 044 at an online auction website. This came from a government auction. Bought it for about 250 USD.

The 353 I got for 30 USD, it needs a few parts. Sadly it didn't come with the clutch cover.
044 is my favorite saw.

Two Danarm chainsaws for $25 each, too bad they're not complete. Maybe @SimonHS knows something about them 😉 one is signed 1-71-ss. The second one is an earlier 55 model there were 2 similar 55 models

Acres site describes the 55 as "virtually identical to McCulloch 1-10"

I can say from first hand experience, that is not the case...

The design and construction are very much like the McCulloch 1-10 models and some parts would interchange, but there are also quite a few differences between the two saws.

I see that it has an intake to the cylinder and a long piston. Does it have the exact model number or plate? I thought Mark would have it 🤠👍 Someone on YT wrote that he has a twin Frontier 5R
