Here’s my saw drawer full of stuff that came off the bench today. 2511t that had a leak when hot, fresh port job 150/151, 372 extra big bore, 550mk1 new top end, 500i the guy doesn’t want to spend the money to fix. All out for tests except the 500.

Working on a 353, came with a scored piston and some missing parts. Cleaned up well and ordered the parts that I need.

Also uncovered my 044. Think I did good. Metal tag, red lever, slant vin and 10mm if I am correct.

Thanks. Bought the 044 at an online auction website. This came from a government auction. Bought it for about 250 USD.

The 353 I got for 30 USD, it needs a few parts. Sadly it didn't come with the clutch cover.

044 is my favorite saw.

The Carter NRD has a problem with the metering diaphragm and I do not have any parts so for now runs on prime.

Near one of the workbenches, did a cable repair, new post end . . . and installed a fresh battery in the garden tractor.
More repairs are needed to the snowblower lift winch, not shown this time.

Two Danarm chainsaws for $25 each, too bad they're not complete. Maybe @SimonHS knows something about them one is signed 1-71-ss. The second one is an earlier 55 model there were 2 similar 55 models

Acres site describes the 55 as "virtually identical to McCulloch 1-10"

I can say from first hand experience, that is not the case...











The design and construction are very much like the McCulloch 1-10 models and some parts would interchange, but there are also quite a few differences between the two saws.

I see that it has an intake to the cylinder and a long piston. Does it have the exact model number or plate? I thought Mark would have it Someone on YT wrote that he has a twin Frontier 5R
