Thats a expensive pastime ...What do you make of the situation ?

One was a 357 that the auto decomp line melted.
Another one was due to cheap Walmart oil I'm guessing. It passed pressure and vac upon initial checking.

I am not sure about this 575, I haven't dug into it yet.

I forgot about his 394 that was run with to small of screws in the support bracket and the muffler bolts worked loose and cracked the exhaust flange.....

Second attempt to find a Husky orange powder that is close.
I think I'm going to run with it and give it a try.
There all different colors anyway so why not one more.

It was close outside, but as you know Mike there all different.

I had four saws outside and everyone was a different shade. It really seems to be a guessing game.

The darker one is RAL 2009
The.. RAL 2009 number ...do you know if its a world wide code ? Don't know much about the RAL system and i would be interested to take that info to the Industrial paint makers i use and see what they say.

Most of the powder coat has a RAL number. But I do think it's European system.
I see it a lot for paint codes over there more then in the states.

Liquid paint is much easier to match because you can keep tweeking it until it right.
Powder your kinda stuck with what's out there.

How things have changed, now adays, the damn motor comes out the bottom!!!!
That one comes out either way, but GM does it from the bottom, struts and six big bolts and a few connectors exhaust and stuff, about six hours work.
I have about 25 miles on the engine now and no surprizes, when I first fired it up after about 10 minutes the power steering line blew off coating the entire engine bay with a quart of oil!!!!

Any ways today I am putting the GX390 back on the log splitter, it was smoking bad so did a chinese rebuild,, carb, piston, rings etc $47 bucks,,or about $30 US,
You cant tell the pistons apart,, time will tell.

I have been running the cheap Walmart oil at 32:1 as a test and no damage yet. I was using Yamalube before.
