I feel they are a little like the Stihl 441C. You love them or you hate them. Both incredible smooth saws to run but may be lacking in other areas...

I have one I'm about to go thru hope it wakes up with a new set of rings cuz right now its just kinda like :drooling: and I want it to be like:flamethrower2:

I guess I will start searching for build threads then. From what I have read it is a very smooth saw but a bit on the heavy and cumbersome side.

I think Joe @Onan18 did one, if not he sure would be who I looked too for ideas.

Is a 576 worthy of a build?
There's a local tree service here that has a bunch of them. They prefer them over the 372 and 390.

I bought one of thier 390's... let's just say that it was well used. They say the 576 holds up better. Lol

My buddy has a 372 and 576, and cuts firewood with both. He says he usually reaches for the 576 first, and then switches when the chain starts getting dull.

Speaking of which, he just dropped a Homelite 360 off at my house. I haven't gotten into it yet, but he's saying it has fuel, but won't fire. Do these things have the unobtanium coil setup from Homelite?
