the two 346's my dealer gave to me super cheap, almost done with them both. OE and NE, both ported, 357 filters & carb.

Not the best picture, my little farm has a few mountains, this is the view from one of them.

Thank you :)

we used to think that the value was in pine, birch and oak forrest, them who knew the forrest future planted spruce's, unfortantly my family wasnt one of them :D, pines is the majority on my farm.

There are those who cut down all the threes they got and planted spruce's, I dont like that type forrest but I gotta admit they has a huge value

Well it looks like some beautiful ground you have there. Having a nice place to hunt is worth more than the timber value IMO.

oh yes, hunting ground vs spruce threes, I take the hunting ground anydays!!!!!
On the mountain I was on, when the first snow comes the hares follow, I can't remember how many days we have sat there in the sun while the dog does the job, it's a priceless experience!!

While I'm into them 346's, I found a half finish project (it's been like this for 1,5 year now):

Keith, I agree with CFB, .025-.030 is all I would take off the key, and mine are usually .078 to start (044/440 + 046/460).

The timing advance made a big difference on my brother's 460, and I think I only took .020 off the key, and it is not a ported saw. We had done a muff mod and HD-2, and you barely knew the difference till the timing advance. Then it woke right up.

I think with a timing advance, you may just leave it like it is! Give it a try, nothing to loose.
