I use walnut shells in mine but only clean my parts, not remove paint.

80 grit black beauty it gives surface so powder sticks

Big and little Husky 3120 compared too 242

044 and 064

See why its so important too send clean parts i missed it too when i cleaned them in ultra sonic tank

Oil seeps out of crude when curing powder and oil stains finish luckyly its under muff never seen when together

Not as many as you would think. Some just needed a piston, and a couple only needed a ring.

Has HDA87 carb. Why did everyone want that carb? Has the little trap door on tank too.

Also wondering ballpark value assuming decent operating condition.

The KS cylinder I have does not have a decomp. No sure all of them are like that but that's what mine has. Picked this tonight. 120 carb and decomp cylinder. This one needs some attention to the back two holes for the top cover. It also needs bath!

Cool on info. My other 262's had decomps. This one doesn't have decomp and 87 carb. Maybe this one will run better then the others. Like said just soon run the 60cc poulan because they 262 didnt impress me in past.

Just SMH. Easy fix on yesterdays 262 pick. Piston barely scuffed and ring not stuck. K&S cylinder and piston.
Good thing I got this and not the other guy or someone else IMHO.
Missing circlip and no base gasket. Low psi = no base gasket or sealant was used.

You need the 503 70 48-01 Base Gasket. The 262 is a head slapper with no gasket unless machine work is done.

On my bench right now is a 3.7 Craftsman/Roper chainsaw in bad need of fuel lines and a carb kit. Little did I know that I would have to take the saw apart to put fuel lines in it. Coming up next is my 372XP that I believe has serious engine wear, like maybe bearings or rings..

If memory serves it is 0.5mm thick. There are two gaskets for this series and one is half as thick as the other. The thicker one is the same part number but ends in 02.
