I bought that 2260 from EBay, they shipped it with the bar on it and a chain that would probably cut the same if it was on backwards.
I should have checked it out but i have had no time to run it let alone tear it down.
Lesson learned.

Guess we will have to wait for max flow to fix this problem like they did stihls, but this does t seem to be the norm on this model so I am going to say owners fault, for.lack of maintenance.

In all honesty, that scoring would clean up and run fine. It comes down to how much you wanna spend sometimes.
