May I ask the obvious question?

WTF was he storing "several" chainsaws in the freezer for?
Al this guy owns a treeservice and owns probably 60 pro saws but when they would break he was putting them in a freezer and thought that was a good place to store them until he was ready to fix them? Ruined several nice 036/360s and 044/ 440, 046/460

Was it a running freezer? Or just using an old freezer as a cabinet? Did the guy think he was preserving Walt Disney?
Lol! Not sure but he is a very successful treeservice owner though. They r very rough on saws , like breakin dogs off crankcase and breaking tanks/dampners and such. I told him to keep breaking and bringing them to fix!

Seems a lot of tree guys are rough on their stuff, or at least the employees are.
Very true. If they don't have to pay for it who cares .
I can't kill a saw through neglect or care free acts. IL work em hard but I don't kill them. Guess that's why I'm also making good money at my job cause I'm a maintenance too

I sub for companies so I bring all my own stuff. Even when I worked for other folk they marveled at the fact that I cared about the equipment. "If we take care of it and maintain it then when we wanna work it, it will be ready!" That's how I feel and how I do. Saws get blown out at least once a week, hardware checked, etc.

Yeah I bring 1 of my 2 top handle saws every day to work once in a while il bring my oh26 woody pro on crane pull jobs for *s-words n giggles but I use my saws every day and when I get home my saws get blow down daily the company saws I go through filters and clean up when chains come off if air is available. My old echo 360t is my main go to saw with a 14 inch on it. I have no problem working 16 to 18 wood with the thing and the boss can't tell me how to run or tuNE my saw. I work the *s-word out of it and it works every day I need it to. Regular maintenance is key to a clean running cool running saw
