I got this freebie for a month ago, Husky 42 special year 93, needed a new case.


And cleaning......


My spare case had one issue...cracked guide pin.....wasnt easy to get out the guide pin, done it once I learned the lesson. Easiest way is to slide in an M5 screw, put it is a vice and tight good, then heat and brute force and out it came lol


We got so far today, nightime for old Norwegians...


Work for tomorrow, muffler modds, porting, airfilter modd, and hopefully a start up!

Nothing wrong with how this 930 ran, but that's why I took it apart . No porting but did a few mild things to wake it up. Check out the hackjob the previous owner did to fix broken flywheel pawl stop. I don't trust that at 13k rpm. It got replaced with a 910 flywheel that is identical. Check out the size of this flywheel. Giant for a saw. 056 magnum 2 for scale behind it.

got a 2252 waiting on parts. jred wanted 160.00 for a piston. got one from red barn for 40.00. waiting on cylinder gasket.

do you know if the jred 2252 came with rtv on the cylinder gasket from the factory?

i was jsut looking at that. cylinder is perfect. just need a piston. unit has 40 hr on it. i get some pics as soon as i get the cylinder gasket

Not RTV, but motoseal is used. Its gray in color.

I gotta admit that its difficult for me to shape the curves as Gilardoni has with a RA handpiece.

You might get a tiny cut off wheel to work with the RA piece.
