That right there gives me a whole nother aspect of Big Ted. Dang.:D
Haha..I kept it gutter back in the day. Here was the 1984 olds nine eight I used to roll...till it rusted out and the trans gave up...for the third time. Plus kids came along yadda yadda. It looked nice when it was clean though. Had to do a bunch of cuttin to get those 22's to fit without rubbin. I never liked the lifted up look...I liked to have everything tucked up nice and tight. If I had the money I woulda put airbags on it.

Nice Ghetto Glider.
It rode nice. Velour interior or whatever it was...you could sleep in it. Floated down the road...22's on and it was a little rough but still nice. I loved that car.

I'm not much for large rims but them spokes look clean. What did you have them on
I'm a sucker for spokes. Just classy in my opinion.

I still have a system in my daily driver.

Alpine CDA7949 pre-amp, MDA5048 EQ, 6-disc changer. Four 8" subs in a custom box under the rear seat, a giant class A 4-channel amp, 6.5" Boston Acoustics pro components. It's well suited for a crewcab truck and plays all genres fairly well. When I bust out the gangsta rap I sure miss the 12's I had in my Eldorado and the 15's I had in my Cutlass.

I had some other cherry stuff I sent down the road back in the day that I wished I still had. I bet we all do.

Well I set the 7910 aside for tonight, need a bracket for it but i will look for a couple nuts at the dealer tomorrow to weld in. Started cleaning and putting together another 288xp, putting a Meteor P&C in this one, won't get it done tonight either, waiting on oem parts but atleast we are started, hope to get it done by next week sometime.

Gotta push your filter cover down. Apply pressure forward by the junction of the cover and the rear handle, then push it down more. Just the way some of them are. That lock should sit horizontal and even. I know, OCD, its a tough way to live...
I went to the newer version of the covers, these are AM, seem to lock down better..026-4.JPG

I sold mine to make room for strollers and crap years ago.
I do miss it though. Should have saved it.

Working on a 7910 muffler, bracket is missing and the nuts are gone, looking like I am going to weld the bracket directly to the muffler. Any thoughts?

The nuts go inside.....right? Good time to split it, gut it, and weld in
new nuts.
