I told Doc not to rush on it. I think he may still be waiting on a few parts. Maybe a week or 2. He has a tough couple of weeks ahead of him with no time off.
I am sure he will post up that video as soon as he runs the saw. [emoji106]

So when do you think you may get the opportunity to put that beautiful beast into some wood?
It still needs some work.

I had a surprise bar stud issue. One of the two is getting the case side drilled and tapped for the 056/Stihl repair stud this week. If that isn't 100%, it's getting a case split, different case and new bearings while I'm in there.

Hoping to have it in wood next weekend if it's fixed up and the foot of snow here is melted a bit.

I really like the 3/4 wrap Mike.

Picked up this 009 which for some strange reason the big end roller bearing are in the bottom of the case
never heard of that before unless some one has pulled the top off not knowing the bearings will fall out
so clean it up and strip it down and check the rod out once its split in 2

The guy next door (his father was an auto mech) tells me he has filled holes and re drilled & tapped them using Loctite PL Premium. If you try it, just give it 2 days to dry.

That stuff has worked very well for me gluing in lock nuts for the lower dog/chain catch bolt.
