Starter putting this little bugger back together. All was going great until I opened the box with my new meteor piston and found the broken rings. Oh well chit happens. I guess I'll be giving my Stihl dealer a call tomorrowIMG_2966.JPGIMG_2965.JPG

I would like to know the weight of that bar, and the cost.

20" light bar= 2lb. 1oz

Ok I pulled out the scale and weighed my new 20" ES light bar as well as a,few others(all are 3/8 .050" except the 20" e standard which is .325 .063", wish I had a 20" ES 3/8 .050 to compare)

Here's what I got

20" e standard .325-.063 = 2lb. 6.3oz
20" ES light 3/8-.050 =2lb. 0.9oz.
25" ES =3lb. 10.7oz.
25" ES light =2lb. 9.6oz.
28" ES =3lb. 14.2oz
28" ES wide nose. =4lb. 1.7oz.
28" ES light. =2lb. 12.0oz.
32" ES light. =3lb. 5.2 oz.

Al, your Gravy looks great, and that 460 looks just Awesome!!!

Fyi, we had Pasta Fazool tonight.

Now I can just see all the non Gumbas searching ... Gravy, Fazool ... sorta like the first time I encountered grits!

Hey, I want to see some vids of that 460 in the wood ... to heck with the snow!

I think I can help out a bit here:

Sugi Hara 20" .050 - 2 lb 3.1 oz
Stihl E bar 20" .050 - 2 lb 4.6 oz

I remember I also posted the wt of a 25" E bar, but I can't find it. I'm pretty sure it was more than a 28" ES light, but less than 3 lbs.

Another 026 screamer Mike?
Sorry about the rings. Caber/Meteor really needs to package them better. Maybe put them in tissue paper or bubble wrap.

This saw I picked up in pieces. The previous owner had beat the crap out of it. It had a scored up piston and cylinder. There was a bunch of twine wrapped around the crank behind the flywheel and it took out the seal. After he killed the saw he was taking pieces off it for other saws. I gotta get a bar stud and a new fuel line for it plus a new clutch drum.
I plan on selling this saw once I get it all together and running again.
