Yeah. And when I pull it up it still outruns your 036! [emoji33]

You all know I am a big time Husky guy, but I have run @dall MOFO 036 and I will go on public record right now and say that there isn't a true 60cc Husqvarna (not counting a 365, they are a "mid" class) out there that could live with it.

Truth, but there again, the 266 is a "mid" class like the 365. And it should run circles around it with the extra displacement. Apples and oranges (no pun intended).

Those two are the most popular firewood saws here, so they get compared no matter the technicality's by people. I think the Stihl responds to mods better than the Husqvarna. Both great saws.

346 with an air leak in the intake track. I pulled it apart 4 times and checked things and still no dice.
Finally pulled the jug to get the boot off and found this

I couldn't see it on the saw...
And the husky dealer is out of stock on them... [emoji35]
Good thing you caught it. I've been there taking something apart multiple times and scratching your head. Did you catch it in time?

The little oleo-mac above didn't have an air leak, just really bad tune and waaaay too much oil in the mix.
LA had the butterfly cocked well open and was being drowned to get the revs down. It was also blowing more smoke than my 090 on 25:1

I got it tuned nicely with minimal LA and it was still smoking so I dumped the fuel and fed it some fresh 50:1
It was now so rich with less oil and more fuel through the jet that it would not even start.
Retuned to 50:1 and it ran much better with bugger all smoke.

Pulled the muffler apart and did some breathing mods, and discovered the muffler inlet port was about 20% smaller than the cylinder exhaust port so I matched it.
Enlarged the little holes that feed air to the carb under the filter
Those mods leaned it out to the rev limiter so fed it more fuel and it runs great.

Put it in some dry hardwood almost bar deep and it powers on through
